I don't hunt moose in Ontario but I would have no problems wacking a moose with my Vixen using cut on contact BHs. I'd probably feel more comfortable at a closer range but with a good blade like Magnus Stingers you'd get deep enough. Don't expect a pass-through. Of course a Phoenix is a bit more in the power department. Would I take a shot at 30 yards.... its border line but I think when the moment of truth came I would say no, at 20 yards and only if the perfect shot presented itself. But you never know!
