Default RE: Gerber Carnivore Bloodtracking light

I have one and am not all that impressed with it. That being said, my "test" may have been a little unfair, but here is how it went.
* shot a deer on evening and tracked it with a normal flashlight and battery operated coleman lantern. Finally found her after about an hour.
* just for kicks I picked up the Gerber Carnivore light for the next deer (hopefully ). However, as a test I used the light on some still wet blood from the saran wrap that I put the tenderloins from the first deer in. Went into a dark room, used the blood light and was not wowed.
Maybe not a fair test since it was not fresh blood on the ground, but I don't really see what difference that would make.
Just my .02
Good Luck
