RE: Anybody else getting cold answers Sierra?
I have used Sierra bullets for over 40 years and just love them. They have made about 60 one shot kills on deer for me. I also sometimes use Hornady and find them to be good bullets also. Have tried every type of so-called premium bullet in .30 caliber and can tell you that they are not worth the money.
I am not going to pay 50 cents or more for a bullet that is very inaccurate in my .308, .30-06 or .300Win Mag. I normally shoot 1,000 to 3,000 rounds of .30 caliber per year. The smallest group I have ever fired out of my Remington 700 in .30-06 was 5/16 inch for five shots using 46.5 grains of IMR 3031, Winchester LR primer, LC52 case and Sierra 150 grain spitzer boat-tail-100 yard group.
