Itis possible that a 60lb bow shoots 300fps. When they are tested they are shot with an arrow that is 5 grains per pound of draw weight (for example- 70lb draw 350 grain arrow). My Allegiance shoots around 295 with my wisker biscuit and hunting arrows. I have four pins on my Copper John Dead Nuts (30, 40, 50 and 60). For hunting purposes I really doubt that the dear will notice the inch difference in the point of impact from 20 to 30 yards. But thats just my 2 cents.
