I have a Bushnell Yardage Pro Scout, I would call it a pretty good affordable rangefinder, but if you plan to use it for long range rifle hunting, it only reads on deer size game to about 300 yards. It will range the dirt beside the deer but not to deer beyond that. I have looked at the new Leica and that thing is in a league of it's own(butpricey). I have also used a friends Nikon Monarch 800, I believe it's a little better than my Bushnell, it is a lot faster in taking a reading and the optics seem a little more sharp.
