RE: Knight Rifles
What I meant about the Pro Hunter is the people willing to spend the extra money for the quality/ high endrifles such as the Knight, and Thompson Center are going to give the Pro Hunter a hard serious look. Also when the new image wears off the Pro Hunter a little, like all the others they will come down in price some places. It surprises me how many people went to the Encore as their choice for a muzzleloader. In the T/C line I personally would have leaned towards the Omega more.
When it comes to inexpensive rifles, CVA and Traditions are going to rule the entry level rifle market for a long time. Granted they also produce a top of the line type rifle, but those people with a couple hundred bucks are not going to be looking at the Knight and Thompson Centers. Although I see Wal Mart carries a beginers pack Omega Z5 with the cleaners, jags, swabs, etc for around $300.00. I'm keeping my eye on that because last year they were dumping the Black Diamonds for next to nothing at their year end.
