Going into the season, my junior campaign asa bow hunter, I thought this would be my breakout year. The deer have other plans, I've been out fourteen times and have not harvested one yet. But the time in the woods is truly amazing! My reward at the end of today's "unsuccessful" hunt was a close encounter with a albino and or piebold doe!!! I don't believe tree huggers ever get to see all the secrets nature will reveal to all of us who stay on stand and wait patiently for the mystery to unfold on and above the forest floor.
