RE: what do you hate about all the new camo out there?
SalCucco: while I don't heavily subscribe to camoflage being a dominant factor in hunting success, other factors being more important, I would like to suggest to you that mixing camo patterns is not a bad thing. Wouldn't mixing pattern 1 trousers with pattern 2 parka tend to break-up the continuity of the human form and make recognition more difficult? Mix and match at will: I don't think this will work less than dressing in matching camo tops/bottoms.
Relative to how I look sitting in the woods . . . where I deer hunt generally there are few people observing me, so even if I dressed like Austin Powers with that frilly cravat and lacy sleeve puffs no human being would likely be the wiser.
