not ny ,but here in pa. grouse are not to plentiful,there are some ..woodcock seem to be coming back but i dont shoot them.. i flushed 4 the other day..

i am seeing a lot more hunters looking for grouse with dogs..i never see them kill to many as these grouse are hard to get after leaves drop..some of my shots are 60 yards or more..i use high brass no.6 shot with full choke..

my secret to getting them over other hunters is to hunt them in the WIND not calm day..this is only way you are going to sneak up on a pa. grouse after leaves are off..
