String Loop or No?
There is no good reason not to shoot with a loop.
I suggest having your local pro shop tie one on for you the next time you're in and trying it out. If you like it, keep it. If you don't, remove it and shoot off the string.
Heres one reason: I'm 5'11", 180lbs, but for some reason my draw length is only 26". I don't want to give up any of my short draw length, so no string loop for me.
Otherwise this is a great post!
You don't
give up draw length at all.
I'm 5'10" and have a 26" draw.
I shoot with a loop.
Common misconception.
