i have them on my wifes outty, they seem to work well and she is an agressive rider, am not sure about snow but in all other tyes of riding they have done better than expected, i had mud lites on another outty and was really glad to trade them as we don't do alot of "mud"riding, side walls seem stiff enough and cornering is better than the stock tires don't seem to bounce at higher speeds like my mud lites did, i think they are a pretty good trail tire, and if you don't ride alot of mud i would steer clear of mud type tire ,
