I don't get whymulies get so stinky as rut approaches, I have yet to have a stinky whitetail but mulies[:'(].The hams area bit strongso I'll debone them for jerky, backstraps should be alright I recon. My first one at the start of the month was JFL, no smell and tender.Yeah 29E...zone is not what it used to be, at least around "RUDY".
