RE: Home-made scent killer spray
I've been using this formula for 2 seasons now. I found the recipe here, of course. Seems to work as well or better than the store bought stuff and is cheap and easy to make.
It also makes a great hand cleaner for after you field dress a deer. I use it to clean my hands,knife and pelvic saw. It is cheap enough to use as a spray cleaner for in the field.
I does work, a couple weekend ago I field dressed a deer my hunting partner shot and got a little of the gut. My hands smelled bad! I sprayed them down with the scent killer spray and wiped them off with some paper towels. It took 2 applications but the smell was gone!
