i was also looking for a good kids bow my daughter is 8 now and getting into archery. I did a little shopping and found that Parker has a good program that allows the bow to grow with your kid. The bow they sell is called a buckshot. As your kid gets older and stronger they replace the limbs and such for $50. specs go from 18" to 28" on draw length and draw weight from 20#-50#. So in ten years they could still be using the same bow. you can shop around but it runs about $350 fully equipped
