I am looking at getting another gun primarily for elk hunting and am interested in 338 win mag. Any suggestions on what rifle brand would best suit my needs. I am not interested in spending thousands on a custom rifle. Stainless and compositwith a higher end scope are the way I plan to go. My budget would be less than 2K.
CI, I bought the BRN A-bolt w/BOSSfor a trip to CO and wished I hadn't. If you are hunting between boulders, you better have good ear protection. I love the A-bolt, but not the BOSS!
I also bought the BRN BLR in .358 and shot it more than the .338!
