I have a T/C Renegade with a 1-48 twist. They do not and I would not suggest sabots. I shoot a round ball with 80 grains of pyrodex select RS, a .015 patch and a round ball. It is very accurate, as I am sure yours will be also. I also make 300 grain pure lead conical bullets from a LEE mold. These are a short conical and they also shoot real well with 90 grains of Pyrodex select and no patch here. Good shooting, I think you have a real good rifle there....
