Well, I got overrun by yahoos on four wheelers, duck hunters, rock chuckers and Coast Guard helicopters scouting bears at tree top level over my blind location. I'm giving up on deer hunting until after the rifle season closes on the 31st. Then it's two weeks of bow only deer hunting in the rut, mixed with bear hunting and most of all, my favorite: goat hunting!!! If I don't get a deer by the 14th of Nov. I'll fly out and get one in early Dec. (The seaon is open until 12/31 and I can take 4 in the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge if I haven't shot one on the "road system", otherwise it's 3.) My main hunting goal for this year is to tag a P&Y blacktail. It's going to happen!!!!
