Had a doe come in Saturday. I put the glasses on her and saw 8 - 10" spikes. I thought it was a small buck but everything about her said "doe", would have dressed maybe 115 lbs., narrow, delicate neck, narrow shoulders, not at all "blocky". Then, at about 18 yards, she lifted her tail, squatted, and peed. That pretty well settled it for me. She circled to about 12 yards (I was on the ground and had the wind) and I got a good look at the spikes - a little gnarly and had some mass. A quick google revealed a wide range of estimates from the biologists but 1 in about 2700 seems a reasonable concensus. Anybody else see or shoot one?
