Default RE: What brand of bow should I use to whitetail hunt?

I recently bought a bow and what made me finally settle on one was how easy was it to maintain as well as how well it felt and shot. Not to mention quiet. I went with a Ross CR334. I really like the Mathews Switchback, but it had one thing that prevented me from buying it besides $150 more. The serving on the cable, like most single cam bows likes to wear right where the cam rolls over. There are many nice bows out there, so like others have said, try them out before you buy and get opinions from owners of those bows to see their like and dislikes. You may find someone doesn't like something that doesn't bother you at all. Example: My Ross isn't the fastest, but fast enough and one of the quietest and smoothest. You also need to consider draw length. If you have a short draw length, you may want to check out a bow like the Bowtech Equalizer, which is made for high speeds for shorter draws (up to 27".)
