Well when you are draggin a deer the weight is a little more spread out. With a hog its like draggin a chunk of lead. My friend killed his first last year. Long story short. We walked into the middle of about 15 bedded down it was raining. They spooked he shot one with my 270. (I had my bow) and we drug it out of the woods. Around 1 mile from the truck. Oh it was lovely. Splendid just splendid. It weighed about 175 I guess. And to tell you the truth that was the worst time I have ever had draggin any animal out of the woods.
