Default RE: disapointing day in western MA

You guys sound like me... Opening am i shot a doe w/ what I thought was a great shot. Turns out I clipped liver and gut. I let her go for a long time... found 12 beds w/ blood. Lost her in a swamp. We looked everywhere. Very disappointed.
Had a nice doe come in this am on the same stand w/ 2 skips... She came in to 10 yards at about 6:50am.... i could see her, but couldn't see my sight through the peep and did't take the shot...
She stopped in the "perfect" spot that I have in the area too... Of course... when it is still too dark to shoot!
Never heard them come in... They just turned and walked back the way they came. As soon as they disappeared... I could see my pin!
Oh well, maybe tomorrow.

Keep at it guys... We are hunting Massachusetts.... Too bad we are not on a nice Midwest farm.... Oh well.
