I think that calling would be a good start, but, I don't think that you will kill 'em all.With no one else hunting them, they should respond well to distress calls.Get a buddy to go with ya, two guns, two sets of eyes are more effeciant at killing them.You could most likely call them anytime of day, with it being cold lately.Good Luck!
