All you have to do is step out of the road. No shooting across. I dont know about shooting down the sides but we are very safety minded and wouldnt dreamof it. We saw many of them and they have to be stupid. Almost walk up to them as long as they cant smell you. 33 feet is very convenient and it tickled the hell out of me.
