Default RE: Trophy Hunting?

This has been an informative and for the most part a true debate and not a name calling session. I hope I did not step on any toes to hard, if I did I also apoligize. I think we can all agree that there is room for both the trophy and the meat hunter in the woods. I feel it is harder for the trophy hunter if he does not either own his own land or belong to a club that practices QDM than for the meat hunter. I count myself very lucky for where I live that even though I belong to no club, nor do I own any acreage, I still have permission to be the sole hunter to have permission to hunt a few different properties. I still consider myself for the most part a meat hunter, but will let buttons and young bucks walk, except for a scrub on this one piece of property I hunt because of a monster 6 point that I hope one day to take out before he gets on the down hill side due to age, he is probably at least 6-7 years old, maybe older.
