Depends on what your gun likes, mine[Omega] shoots well with Shock Waves,I don't expect to shoot over 150 yds so I use the 250gr but any time I need long range I go to the 50/40 200gr with 150 gr it will tear ragged holes with 5 shots @ 100 yds and there are people who have brought down Moose with them.
