Default RE: T/C Pro Hunter

For high performance loads, it is hard to beat the Pyrodex pellets behind a 250 gr. T/C Shockwave. With 200 yard magnum loads, the Pyrodex pellets produce more speed and more consistent velocities than does loose Pyrodex RS. I would load either three fifty grain pellets, or two fifties and a thirty. If you are going to load 100 grains, the loose stuff works fine. You could also try 120 gr. of loose 2F Triple 7 with this same bullet - or even 130 gr. of loose 2F Jim Shockey Gold. But the Pyrodex pellets, in my experience, are the "gold standard" if you want to push your Pro Hunter to the 200 yard performance level.
