I orgered the Prongorns from Cabelas & walked around in them around the house for a while - SUPER comfortable, but that insulation is NOT in the toe cap. It's in the sides. I spoke to a guy at Gander Mountain who agreed, a lot of customers complain about that. I put a heat pad in my old Vasque hiking boots, rubbed some doe urine into the leather & had a buck grazing within 10 yards of me. And I was on the ground.
