I have just bought a new T/C Pro Hunter SS .50 cal. I'm fairly new to muzzle loading and would like some advice. I bought this gun to hunt in Illinois this year. I will be hunting open farm ground and some woods. What bullet/powder set up would y'all recommend as astarting point? Also, what is a realistic yardage I could expect to make a clean kill on adeer using this gun?

Any other suggestions and advice would be great.
