Congrats on the nice buck Palmergt3. That's exactly what we needed to get us started.

I missed a giant last Thursday, a 10pt that would have scored 130+. I haven't missed a deer in a long time, I think I just got a bad case of buck fever. It was a 26 yard quartering away shot and I thought he was a little over 30 yards and skimmed it right over his back. Oh well I will get him next time. I was able to take my 3rd doe of the season the next night which helped rebuilt my confidence after the miss. It looks like everyone is hunting now, good luck and lets get a few more on the board. The next month is the hot time to be in the woods.....I love this time of year.
