Default RE: Ethical or not?

If you'd like to address me personally, please get it right. It's NavyDeerHunter, not NavyDeerGuy.
Also, if you want to quote me or the law, you may want to do so accurately. I did not say that I ONLY have a 2 acre lot, I said that most folks have OVER 2.5 acres. You have no idea if it's 2.6 or 26 so why are you commenting on it? You have no idea as to the lay of the land or where the deer may or may not run, so again...why comment?
You're close, but actually Maryland law requires that it is unlawful to "hunt or shoot at wildlife within 150 yards of an occupied structure or camp WITHOUT PERMISSION OF THE OWNER OR OCCUPANT. Check page 14 of the regs.
And with regard to your comment to G8atta2d...You're damn right I'm Navy. I have been for over 24 years and I'm proud of it. Who are you to say what makes me/us happy? You don't know me.

Well NavyDeerGuy, you may be adding another chapter to the term "Ugly Hunter" with the neighborhood. And, since you only have 2 acre lots you got a very limited shooting funnel I'd say. Maryland law requires you be no closer than 150 yards of an occupied building when discharging a weapon. Add to the fact your deer is going to run and more than likely end up on a neighbors lawn, well... it isn't going to be pretty. You know Maryland, they'll want an environmental study before they'll issue you a permit. And guess what, they don't issue depredation permits for shrubbery, flowers and bushes..... only for farm crops and usually on 50 acres or more. Yup, with Maryland treehuggers in full force, I figure your only option is a punji pit or night hunting with infrared lights.[8D] I can see it now.... "Navy guy gone whack-0 isassulted by Maryland Treehuggers"(Bambi could not be saved)
I think you took Daivid's post a little too seriously, he wasn't attacking you, relax buddy, shoot the deer, post some pics, recieve some congrats....happy ending
