My husband did the same thing last year, except he wouldn't go to the doctor.... he superglued it.
I thought he was an idiot, but it healed up alright... he hates needles, and he hates stitches...
I won't even mess with them. I get queasy just thinking about slicing my finger on a knife or broadhead or any kind of razor.... [:'(]

Did it last week myself.
My doctor was the one who suggested superglue.
He said he could either charge me for the visit/stitches or I could just go home and superglue it. Its good having a family friend who is a doctor.
The alcohol in the superglue works as an antiseptic.
