Once I know the deer is a shooter,I don't look at his rack.I could not tell you if it is an 8 or a 10.I llok for width,mass hight and than off of the rack.Sure I still get that rush,but I tell myself calm down and get that shot.Don't allow yourself to get so excited that you talk yourself into rushing the shot.If you need an extra step for the perfect shot wait.Or you may end up with tree soup.
