i have seen button bucks do this a few times....no horns yet to fight with so they get up on there hindlegs and start swinging away. I also saw a doe do this to her fawn. I was riding my dirtbike along the edge of a field and came upon the two eating. She ran over hit the fawn on the head so it would run away and learn the dirtbike is a threat
