BLR's are practical/mechanically a bolt action that is operated with a lever...so accuracy is generally great. The .308 has killed too many deer to count. The only fault is the fact that you can't improve the trigger if you wanted to.

Besides that, its a browning so it would hold most its value if you decided it wasn't right. I'd love to have a 308BLR...but a shotgun-only state and limited funds makes that tricky.
