I bought a dog house blind last year and never used it at all! I had trouble with it when putting it up in the back yard. I felt like I was putting up a dome tent and could not see myself doing it in the dark of morning and trying to be quite. So this year I put it up for dad and my nephew to use, going to leave it out there. Dad has a hip that hurts sometimes so he needs the blind when the ladder stand looks like it may be to much. The nephew needs it cause he can't sit still if his life depended on it! LOL, I remember being young! But anyways me and dad really wanted to go out this past Thursday and when we got to the spot the wind was bad and it was cold! So we decided to go sit in blind together. And the whole time I was in itI was like where have you been all my life! The wind was a blowing hard and me a dad just sat back and talked all while being nice and warm. Now I am either considering getting another one for next year, or building permanent ones from scrap pallets at work. It was nice to be warm and out of the wind!
