Opening morning. At 7:22 I heard a noise behind me which turned out to be 4deer. 2 does and 2 fawns less than 20 yards dead down wind. Thanks Scentblocker. I slowly truned and grabbed my bow. I waited for the perfect shot on one of the bigger does and made a quatering away shot at 4 yards. Went in perfect double lunged and came out a little better right through the right shoulder Blade. Muzzy's are "Bad to the Bone". I waited till 8:00 to go and start trailing it. I heard a noise that sounded like a buck grunt when I see a doe running off to my right. I ran back up to the stand and grabbed my bow. Just in time to watch a 6 pointer dogging a doe grunting about 10 times after her. I hit my Primos can but he wasn't leaving her. This doe is heavy. Barely lifter her into my trunk. My lucky arrow that hit the rabbit last night proved its worth,lol. Great way to spend a vacation.
