RE: # of bows?
Hmmmm...
I just bit the bullet and "thinned the herd", but here's what I've got left...
My 1992 High Country, with a busted string.
Three bamboo-backed osage longbows, completed, shot in, and with game taken on each.
One rawhide-backed hickory bow that I took a deer with in 2000 and haven't shot much since.
One rawhide-backed yew longbow that mostly collects dust.
One rawhide-backed red oak "kiddie bow" that my daughter helped build for herself.
Three Root recurves. Two hunting and one target.
One Browning recurve that kills a lot of fish every year.
One Hoyt Avalon target bow, that I don't shoot much anymore.
One Chek-Mate Hunter II recurve that's my all-around bread 'n butter bow.
I guess that makes 14. Shhhhhhh....don't tell my wife. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
