I shoot muzzy four blades at deer with my bow, and sometimes don't get a blood trail for up to fifty yards on a good pass through shots. I shot a cow elk today at 35 yards with a 348 grain powerbelt and didn't get a blood trail, but she went down within 50 yards. If all your game is falling within 50 yards, I'd say you're already doing something right.
