I have never had a problem with my synthetic stocked Savage& or it shooting good groups .(i could care less what it looks like)( looks fine to me)

I never have had a need to- But maybe a afew calls to customer support etc at Savage Smokey?

(after 6 rounds? how many times you going to shoot that deer?)
