I can relate.... I'm in I.T. (I mean, I.T. - as in I am "IT" - a one man I.T. Dept at my company). Pffffft - getting time off is always apain and you have to jump through hoops to get it.[:'(]

The worse aspect is that I am the only guy in the Admin/HR dept (yeah, they lumped I.T. in with the main Admin dept. Go figure...) So, my main Dept manager is the HR lady, who always goes by the book no matter what. [&:]

I took the whole week of Thanksgiving off and the first part of the week after for rifle season. You'd think I committed a heinous crime for asking for that time off! [:@] All the ladies in admin think I am crazy for spending time in a deer camp and wanting to go out and kill beautiful animals (no, they are not PETA freaks, but they don't care for hunting).

I mean, I'm 45 years old.... Istill got a long ways togo before retirement.

God, please let me hit the lottery, so I won't have to put up with corporate B.S. anymore!!!!!!!!!!
