I have a set of steiner binos, nikon binos and I just got my nikon rangefinder about 2 weks ago. I bought the nikon 440 camo.
I ordered it from www.durhamoutdoorsupply.com . They carry binos too.
I have been very happy with all my nikon gear, which also includes 3 scopes. Been using nikon sutff for about 15 years. It is good quality and reliable.

So I would get the range finder first and then get some nikon binos after saving a little more money. You and get a good pair between 200 and 300 bucks. And I almost always take the nikon binos over the steiners.
