Default RE: Mulies in the desert

Similar to whitetails in that they are homebody's, somewhat. They will be near water, food, cover, and if in November . . . Babes!
But I would start by getting up on a good vantage point with a spotting scope or very good binocs. Glass throughout the day and locate them. They will be hanging close to breaks like sage covered draws and points. Near rimrock possibly. Just depends. But you got to see them, then stalk them. They will bed in the sage, a lot of times just over the ridge on the down wind side.
So get up on a tall vantage point and glass your ass off. It will really pay off. Look at it like sitting in a tree stand, only you can see for a mile or more in all directions.
