Dumb Buck
Ok, I didn't have time to hunt this evening but I did have an hour to go out to my spot and scout and hang a dripper over a scrape for the weekend. I was done and on my way out and walking down the dirt access road when I see a fresh rub on a pine tree right beside the road where I have seen a nice buck cross 2 times about 2 weeks ago. The rub was made yesterday or last night because I hunted yesterday morning. This is a traveled road, easy access, and sees some automobile traffic from other would-be hunters. It is on semi-public land (military base). Should I cut the tree so no other hunters see the rub and start scouting my spot? Or should I leave it alone and hunt the piss out of the deer this weekend and try to get him?
