I love the holosights. They retail for about $230, but I snagged both of mine off eBay over the slow summertime for right about $150 each. One of them a guy won in a drawing, but didn't hunt.
The holosight is a both eyes open, quick acquisition sight, which is great in the group hunt that I'm with during shotgun season. When on post and the herd is going by, you can be choosing the next shot while pulling the trigger. On the other hand, I can drill a milk jug at 100yds.
The holosight has a 65MOA circle with a 1MOA dot. At 50yds, you can put the circle around the deer's shoulders and know you have a good kill shot.
