Surely that's a trigger adjustment problem. Too little sear engagement. Another problem I see occasionally with 700 triggers that's even more dangerous is an overtravel adjustment issure. If the overtravel is adjusted too tight, you'll get a "click" when the trigger is pulled. Gun won't fire, but as soon as you move the bolt upward a little it fires. Very dangerous. Both problems are easy fixes.
