From what I have seen, FOC is important when shooting longer distances (FITA and field archery), in heavy wind which could easily be a hunting situation, and when shooting fixed blade heads. I don't know what you plan to use your arrows for however for hunting I would recommend 12%+. If they are target specific arrows that are shot in low wind and less than 50 yards with no broadheads, then I don't really see much importance. For 3D season I was shooting 437 grain GT 30X prosthat had 100 grain glue ins with a super low front of center and they shot awesome out to 50 yards.
