I prefer grilled meat and my favorite recipe has already been mentioned... marinated meat in Montreal Steak seasoning mix. I add a few cloves of garlic for good measure. I swear it only take about 5 minutes to grill those things to perfection... medium rare all the way!!

My mom has a very good method/recipe also.
Brown the pieces fairly well in butter/olive oil.
Turn the heat down to low and simmer with a bunch of onion layered over the meat and a bit of water for moisture. We cook it this way for about 45 minutes and it is delicious.

I've passed the grilled version off as beef many many times to unsuspecting folks....
