Ok folks what is it with this 10/44 talk now? In regards to Ruger made .44 magnum long guns you've got four choices:

1) .44 autoloading carbine
2) #3 single shot
3) 96/44 lever action
4) 99/44 auto loading carbine

There has not been and is not currently a Ruger model 10/44 at least to the very best of my limited knowledge. Hmm also never see this discussed at Ruger Forum nor is it listed as a manufactured model in Ruger and His Guns.Huh, wonder why?
