Not at all , you should be able to tell your dad how you feel after all a good line of comunication is one of the strongest foundations for any relationship.
I'm sure your dad will understand your opinions and he'll respect you for it , as for that deer did you have any luck on finding it ?
It would be to bad if you and your dad didn't try or couldn't find it.
