Default Hunting the wind

I am very conscious of hunting the wind. I usually won't go near a stand unless the wind is perfect. However I often wonder what's walking by my stand from the other direction that I'm not hunting because the wind wasn't "perfect".
I have a couple stands (one in particular) where deer come from 2 or 3 different directions. It's on of those deals where it's the only place I could put a stand. It's along a ridge between two bedding areas. The ridge runs north to south. Most of the winds here are out of the south, north or northwest. All of which would be notvery good for hunting that stand. So it sits until there is a rare east wind.
When you have a stand that deer are likely to comefrom more than one direction what do you do? Do you take a chance and hunt ithoping they dont' come from the downwind side of you that particular day?Ordo you not risk it at all and wait for a different wind to hunt that stand.
